能登半島地震関連プロジェクト｜ Projects for Noto Peninsula Earthquake

令和6年度の能登半島地震に際し、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•Eは、地震による被害が大きかった石川県の児童養護施設と老人ホームへの支援を行っています。  

Our deepest condolences for all the lives lost from the Noto Peninsula Earthquake and

our heartfelt thoughts go out to the victims affected by this tragedy.

Cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•E is providing support to children’s home and nursing home in Ishikawa Prefecture

which was severely affected by the earthquake.

2024年1月に発生した地震で被害の大きかった石川県鳳珠郡の児童養護施設と老人ホームのニーズを把握し支援物資を提供しました。このニュースは海外でも注目され、ロサンゼルスにある日本語補習校であるポラリス学院や、アメリカ在住の方々からの寄付もあり、

被災地のニーズに迅速に対応することができました。

児童養護施設では水や食料の確保は何とかできていましたが、本震や日々の余震により不安を感じる児童たちの心のケアが必要だとの

ニーズがあり、そのためにゲームやスポーツ用品を中心に支援物資を提供しました。老人ホームでは断水に伴う感染病や衛生面の心配が

あり、防護服や手袋などのリクエストに応え、カイロなども同梱して支援しました。 

We responded to the damages caused by the January 2024 earthquake in Ishikawa Prefecture, and we contacted the children's and elderly homes affected by the disaster to assess their needs.

This news received significant attention abroad, leading to donations from Polaris Gakuin, a Japanese language school in Los Angeles, as well as from individuals residing in the city and Macaron Laboratory in Tokyo,

allowing us to promptly deliver aid to the affected homes. 

While water and food sources were somewhat secure at the children's home, we learned of the necessity for emotional support for the children who felt anxious due to the main quake and ongoing aftershocks.

We sent games and sports equipment to address this need. At the elderly home, concerns arose regarding infectious diseases and hygiene due to water shortages. We sent protective gear such as gowns, gloves, along with hand warmers and other essentials.
