思いやりの輪に加わって
Cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•Eは、神谷町にあるセント・オルバンズ教会（聖公会）の「移住者支援ミニストリー 食料・生活必需品配布活動」に参加しました。
この教会では、毎月第1日曜日に、困難な状況にある難民や庇護申請者の方々へ、食料や生活必需品を届ける活動を行っています。今月、私たちもその輪に加わり、寄付された品々を仕分けし、心を込めてケアパッケージを準備させていただきました。
この継続的な取り組みは、多くの方々の温かな思いやりによって支えられています：
- 保存食品
- 衛生用品
- 寝具や生活用品
- 清潔な衣類や靴
Cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•Eでは、小さな行動の積み重ねが、やがて大きな礎（いしづえ）となると信じています。こうして共に歩む機会をいただけたことに、心から感謝しています。
Joining the Circle of Compassion
cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•E joined the activities of the Migrant Ministry of the Deeper Service Group (DSG)of St. Alban’s Anglican-Episcopal Church in Kamiyacho.
On the first Sunday of each month, the church prepares and shares food and daily necessities for refugees, asylum seekers, and others navigating difficult times.
This month, we had the privilege of quietly working alongside others—sorting donations and preparing care packages filled with dignity, kindness, and hope.
This ongoing initiative is made possible by the steady compassion of many who donate:
- Non-perishable food
- Hygiene essentials
- Bedding & household goods
- Clean clothing & shoes
At cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•E, we believe that even the smallest acts of service can become the foundation for something greater. We are humbled to take part and to walk alongside those we serve.

オンラインサロン「朝倉匠子エイジング研究所」のメンバーの皆さんが、プロの先生のご指導の下、母子支援施設で行うハンドマッサージボランティアのための講習を受けました。 この活動は昨年に続き2年目。その優しさと継続する力が 沢山の人の心をあたためています。
Healing Hands, Warm Hearts
The members of the online salon Asakura Shoko Aging Research Institute participated in a special training session led by a professional instructor in preparation for their upcoming hand massage volunteer project at a mother-and-child support facility. This is their second year taking part in this meaningful initiative. Their kindness and commitment continue to warm the hearts of many.

Refugee Support Project
Refugee Support Projectの一環として、牛久市にある東日本入国管理センターおよび品川の東京出入国在留管理局を訪問し、支援物資をお届けしました。また、それぞれの施設で生活されている入所者の中から、男性1名・女性1名の方と面会し、現在の暮らしの様子や日々感じておられることなどをお伺いしました。
入所されている方々は、それぞれ異なる背景や事情を抱えており、その状況を丁寧に理解するには、相応の時間と継続的な対話が必要であることを強く感じました。また、団体としてできる支援と、今は難しいこととの線引きも改めて認識する機会となりました。
今回は、牛久市の施設に対して、タオル、ソックス、体を洗うタオル、ローションといった生活用品に加え、カップラーメン、インスタントカレー、コーンスープ、そしてドライドオニオンやスパイス類を詰め合わせたパッケージをお届けしました。牛久には24人分の支援物資を用意しました。
ドライドオニオンやスパイスを加えた理由は、入所されている方々が主に外国籍であり、提供される日本食が口に合わないことも多いため、少しでも味を調整し、食事を楽しめるようにとの配慮からです。
一方、品川の施設では食品の寄付が受け付けられていないため、今回は生活用品を中心とした支援物資をお届けしました。こちらは7人分の支援を行いました。
限られたリソースの中ではありますが、これからも現場のリアルな状況をしっかり見つめ、正確な情報をもとにニーズに即した支援を続けていきたいと思います。
As part of our Refugee Support Project, we
visited the East Japan Immigration Center in Ushiku and the Tokyo Regional Immigration Bureau in Shinagawa to deliver much-needed relief supplies. During our visit, we also had the opportunity to
speak with one male and one female detainee at each facility, hearing firsthand about their daily lives and personal experiences.
The people living in these centers come from
a wide range of backgrounds and face very different circumstances. We were reminded that truly understanding their situations takes time and ongoing conversations. It was also a chance to reflect
on what our organization can realistically offer—and where our limits lie.
In Ushiku, we prepared care packages for 24
individuals, including essentials like towels, socks, body wash towels, and lotion, as well as food items such as instant noodles, curry, corn soup, dried onions, and spices. These additions were
meant to help detainees—many of whom are from overseas—adjust the flavor of meals and make their food more enjoyable.
In Shinagawa, where food donations are not
accepted, we delivered packages for 7 individuals, focusing on daily necessities.
Resources may be limited, but we remain
committed to listening carefully, staying informed, and offering support that truly meets the needs of those we serve.

児童養護施設を巣立った若者たちが、就職や進学に向けて頑張っている様子や、初めてのアイススケートやBBQといった日常の小さなチャレンジが、丁寧に綴られています。
スタッフの方の言葉からも、卒寮生とのつながりを大切にし、日々真剣に向き合っている様子が伝わってきました。
支援に関わる団体のひとつとして、Cornerstone I•SHI•ZU•Eの名前も記載されていました。支援が、確かに届いています。これからも、やさしさをかたちにして、必要とする方々のもとへ静かに寄り添っていきたいと思います。

Care Package Project
まつぼっくり児童養護施設の子どもたちのもとへ、ささやかなケアパッケージをお届けしました。中にはチョコレートも …暑い時期でしたが、溶けずに無事に届いてホッとしました。少しでも笑顔につながりますように。
We sent a small care package to the children at the Matsubokkuri Children's Home. It included some chocolate... and despite the heat, it arrived safe and unmelted! We hope it brought a little joy and smiles to their day.

Support for the Body and Soul—Through Every Package
Rice continues to be expensive, putting added pressure on everyday living costs for
many.
To help ease that burden, we've been preparing care packages filled with rice and a variety of other food items—like ready-to-eat meals, canned goods, and pantry staples. Each package is thoughtfully assembled with the hope that it brings not only nourishment but also a little peace of mind and warmth to those who receive it.

児童養護施設卒園生のためのケアパッケージプロジェクト
末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会のボランティアの皆さんと協力し、児童養護施設を卒園し、自立した生活を始める若者たちにケアパッケージをお届けしました。
卒園後は一人で生活を始めることになり、不安や困難も少なくありません。そこで、少しでも安心して新生活をスタートできるように、キッチン用品、食料品、電化製品など、生活に必要な品を心を込めて詰め合わせました。
新たな一歩を踏み出す彼らの暮らしが、少しでも豊かで温かいものになりますように――そんな願いを込めて。
Care Package Project for Graduates
of Children's Homes
Together with volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we delivered care packages to young adults graduating from children's homes and beginning life on their
own.
Stepping into independence can be both exciting and overwhelming. Many face the challenges of living alone for the first time, often without the safety net others may have.
To offer a sense of support and stability, each package was carefully prepared with everyday essentials—kitchen items, food, and small appliances.
With heartfelt wishes, we hope these gifts provide warmth, comfort, and encouragement as they take their first steps into a new chapter.

Event Report: National Azabu Neighbors - Spring Markets
The National Azabu Neighbors Spring Markets, held on February 26th and 27th, was another wonderful event filled with warmth and community spirit. It was a joy to see so many friendly faces come together to share in this special occasion.
Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we collected a great number of food items and daily necessities for care packages, which will be delivered to those in need. Every contribution truly makes a difference.

Care Package Project
日用品や食料品のパッケージを自立援助ホームと難民の皆さんにお届けしました。自立援助ホームとは、家庭での生活が困難な若者たちが自立に向けて生活をする支援施設です。私たちの支援が少しでも安心と温かさにつながることを願っています。
We delivered support packages containing daily necessities and food to self-support homes and refugees. Self-support homes are facilities that provide support for young people who face difficulties living at home, helping them transition toward independent living. We hope that our small act of kindness brings comfort and relief to those in need.

末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会のユースグループの皆さんとともに、新たな生活を始める母子支援施設のご家族のために、心を込めて支援パッケージを準備しました。
今回は 東京都内の5つの施設へお届けすることができました。
Together with the youth group of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we put our hearts into preparing support packages for families in mother-child support facilities as they start a new chapter in their lives. This time, we were able to deliver them to five facilities in Tokyo.

Bringing Warmth to the Table
As we learned that the rising price of rice has made it difficult to purchase, we put together support packages focused on rice and delivered them to three facilities, hoping to offer even a little help. We hope they bring warmth to their tables.
The rising cost of rice is a significant challenge, but we do our best to include it in the care packages we send out regularly.

ASIJ Troop 5 × Tohoku Project
ASIJ Troop 5 のスカウトたちとともに東北プロジェクトを実施しました。未来を担う若きボランティアたちが、震災や防災について学びながら、地元の農家の支援やローズガーデンの作業に取り組みました。地域のために行動する彼らの熱意が、新たな希望とつながりを生み出しました！
We carried out the Tohoku Project with the scouts of ASIJ Troop 5. These young volunteers, the future leaders of our communities, dedicated their time to learning about earthquakes and disaster preparedness while lending a helping hand to local farmers and working in a rose garden. Their passion and commitment brought new hope and strengthened connections within the community!

Assembled care packages for the homeless
2025年の活動がスタートしました。
今年最初のプロジェクトは、「朝倉匠子のエイジング研究所」サロンの皆さまによる、ホームレスの方々へのケアパッケージ作成です。手際よく、丁寧に袋詰めを行い、一つひとつに心のこもったメッセージカードを添えてお渡しします。
Our activities for 2025 have begun! The first project of the year is creating care packages for the homeless. This is supported by the members of the “Asakura Shoko Anti-Aging Institute” salon.
Each package is carefully and efficiently packed with a heartfelt message card included in every bag.
